«The Witches of Finnmark» - an instrumental album trilogy, written and produced by Anders Buaas. It was inspired by the book «At the Gates of Hell» by historian Rune Blix Hagen. The witch trials and persecutions in Finnmark in the 16th and 17th century were some of the worst mankind has seen.

Now finally, the third installment will be released, completing Buaas´ trilogy. This has been a major undertaking for many years. Parts I and II were released in 2017 and 2018, getting great reviews both locally and around the world. The music contains elements of folk, blues, progressive rock, jazz and classical. Inspired by bands and artists like Mike Oldfield, Genesis, King Crimson, Al DiMeola, Yngwie Malmsteen, Marillion, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore and many moore ,makes this an exciting musical journey, based on real historical events.

Anders Buaas (b.1974) guitarist, composer and producer from Larvik, Norway.
Previous bands: Gjørmebryterne, Bløff, Absolute Steel and Jernskjegg, and also known as touring guitarist for Paul DiAnno (Iron Maiden) and Tim Ripper Owens (Judas Priest).

Anders Buaas, born 1974 in Larvik, has played with numerous bands and produced many albums in Norway.
